With over a decade of experience in the employment industry, I founded AVS in 2024. The vision was simple: build a recruitment firm that operates as consultants first, with a family-first mindset, focused on delivering real value to the Freight Forwarding, Customs, Logistics and Supply Chain industries across North America. Over time, I have built relationships with incredible clients and candidates who trust us to represent them with transparency, honesty, and care.

Kerry Lawrence
I’ve spent over 25 years in customs and international trade as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS), giving me the technical foundation to evaluate candidates beyond the résumé. My career has taken me through two Big Four accounting firms, a major Canadian importer, a national customs brokerage firm, and multiple duty recovery organizations—experiences that gave me a deep understanding of what exceptional talent in these fields truly looks like.
Over time, I found myself craving more meaningful, human connection. After COVID, that sense of closeness felt harder to find, and I realized how much I valued the relationships behind the work. That’s what led me into recruiting. Helping someone step into a role that can change their life—and helping companies find the right people to strengthen their teams—has become the most rewarding part of my career.
Today, I help organizations across Canada and the U.S. hire confidently for customs, indirect tax, logistics, and supply chain roles. I bring technical fluency and clarity using a people‑first approach to every search, while ensuring both clients as well as candidates feel supported and understood.
Negin Razaghi
Negin is a Recruitment Manager at AVS Employment Group, specializing in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customs, and freight recruitment across Canada and the U.S. With over a decade of experience in the logistics industry, she brings a deep understanding of the operational demands, communication challenges, and fast-paced decision-making that define successful teams in this space.
After studying in California and Washington, Negin eventually made Canada her home and built her career across many areas of logistics. Her background combines hands-on operational experience with business development, giving her a strong understanding of both the technical and people side of the industry.
Through her experience working closely with logistics companies, Negin saw firsthand how much the right people can impact a business. She developed a passion for helping companies build stronger teams while also helping professionals find opportunities where they can truly grow and contribute.
At AVS Employment Group, Negin takes a relationship-focused and people-first approach to recruiting. Her industry knowledge allows her to quickly recognize talent, understand operational requirements, and connect businesses with professionals who can make an immediate impact.
In addition to her recruitment work, Negin is also the President of Arcom Freight Solutions, where she gained valuable experience building teams and managing logistics operations. This entrepreneurial background further strengthens her ability to understand the hiring challenges companies face and the importance of finding dependable, high-performing talent.
Outside of work, Negin is currently pursuing her MBA at Simon Fraser University and strongly believes that growth and learning never stop. She enjoys meeting new people, building lasting connections, traveling, skiing, and playing piano. Music has always been part of her life, and she even DJs for fun.
